End-Of-Life Planning: Documents, Options, and Choices in Washington
This presentation will briefly cover the tools that exist in Washington to help people make end-of-life decisions in advance about their medical care, substitute decision-making, and what happens with their property and physical remains after death. We will focus primarily on end-of-life medical/mental health directives and durable powers of attorney, plus some basic information on funeral directives, wills, and what happens when someone dies without a will.
