SUMMARY:Embodiment For Recovery-A Guided Practice Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This 60-minute trauma-informed experiential workshop invites participants to reconnect with their bodies through gentle embodied practices.\nInstead of an educational presentation, this class will focus on engaging in somatic exercises such as orienting, grounding, and pendulation, which are practices that can help soothe the nervous system, support recovery, and foster a greater sense of safety and connection.\nIn addition to embodied practices, this class will also include a discussion of ways to incorporate embodied practices into daily life.\nNo prior experience is needed, and all participation is by invitation, at each participant’s own pace.\n
